Location: School based near Kenley, Surrey
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–15:30pm
Salary: £500–£600 per week
Start Date: September 2025

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will have:
- A recent degree (2:1 or higher) in any subject area, or another subject discipline
- An A Level Mathematics (preferred for non-Maths graduates) is desirable but not essential
- A genuine interest in working with and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to learning and development
- Some experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
The Role
If you want to take the first step into education, this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will provide you with the experience and confidence to explore teaching as a career.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group academic support
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students of all abilities, from high achievers to those needing extra help
- Develop strong working relationships with pupils, inspiring them to reach their potential
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and enrichment
- Work alongside experienced teachers, gaining insight into effective classroom practice and teacher training routes for 2026
