Paralegal

About the Role

This highly regarded corporate services firm is seeking a talented and motivated Paralegal to join its General Counsel Team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the firms leading legal services across a variety of sectors.

You will play a key role in supporting legal operations, including supplier onboarding, contract review, data protection and due diligence. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to work on a variety of legal and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Support projects led by the Head of Legal and Senior Legal Counsel, including developing protocols and leveraging technology for engagement letters, panel terms and supplier contracts
• Respond to internal legal queries under the guidance of senior legal team members
• Complete risk and governance questionnaires and other due diligence documentation requested by external stakeholders
• Maintain internal precedent banks for preferred legal clauses and governance documentation
• Review and update databases of contractual terms and maintain the internal supplier contract register
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to review data processing agreements and manage public legal and regulatory notices
• Assist the Risk & Compliance team in ensuring adherence to professional standards set by relevant legal authorities in each jurisdiction

About You

• Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role
• Strong understanding of contract law, data protection and regulatory compliance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with legal technology and document management systems is a plus
