This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly effective teacher who is ready to take the next step into leadership or further develop their leadership experience. As Subject Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality teaching and learning, improving student outcomes, and leading a successful subject team.
You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and, where applicable, the Faculty Leader to ensure all students make strong and sustained progress.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage a subject team to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
Use data effectively to drive improvement and ensure strong outcomes for all students
Coach, mentor, and support colleagues to continually improve their practice
Contribute to whole-school improvement priorities and middle leadership initiatives
Ensure high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement across the subject
Engage with parents, SLT, and other stakeholders to support student success
We are looking for someone who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for their subject
Has experience of leading, or the clear potential to lead, and inspire others
Has strong subject knowledge and a secure understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring success for all students
Is reflective, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development
Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
