Job Description

The Talent and Performance Partner plays a critical role in designing and embedding ASOS’s talent and performance strategies. Working closely with the Head of Talent Management, you’ll help bring our Talent & Performance Philosophy to life — supporting the design and delivery of performance management, succession planning, career development, and mobility initiatives that drive organisational capability and employee growth.

You’ll act as a connector between strategy and execution, partnering with PX Partners, Talent & Culture Partners, and business leaders to ensure our frameworks align with ASOS’s values, business goals, and cultural ambitions — and are widely adopted and impactful.

What You’ll Learn and Contribute To

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience translating strategic talent and performance concepts into practical, scalable solutions that shape how people grow and perform at ASOS. You’ll strengthen your ability to influence across functions, working closely with PX and business leaders to embed talent practices that are data-informed, inclusive, and future-ready.

You’ll contribute to building a connected talent landscape — where performance, development, and engagement are aligned — and help foster a culture where employees feel empowered and supported. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in organisational health, employee experience, and talent planning, while making a visible impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and embedding of ASOS’s Talent and Performance Philosophy, with methodologies and frameworks the embed a high-performance culture across ASOS
  • Strengthen organisational capability and performance by linking performance, reward, recognition, and engagement
  • Partner with PX, PX Partners, Talent & Culture Partners, and functional leaders to embed performance management practices that drive accountability and growth
  • Support the design and rollout of career development tools and experiences that empower employees to own their growth
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, PX Partners, and functional leaders on how ASOS recruits, structures, and moves talent through the business — ensuring the right mix of stability and movement to meet short- and long-term organisational needs
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning processes, ensuring visibility of key talent and readiness for future roles
  • Use data and insights to identify talent trends, risks, and opportunities — informing action plans and continuous improvement
  • Champion inclusive practices across all talent and performance initiatives, ensuring equity and inclusivity are embedded by design

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

You’re a trusted advisor with strong influencing skills, comfortable working across senior stakeholders, PX colleagues, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You bring a thoughtful, inclusive approach to talent practices and are confident navigating complexity, using data and insight to shape strategies that drive performance, growth, and engagement.

You will also have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working within a Centre of Expertise (CoE) model
  • Proven ability to design and embed performance frameworks, partnering with HRBPs and leaders to ensure alignment with business outcomes and employee growth
  • Understanding of the link between performance, reward, recognition, and engagement
  • Experience in succession planning, career development, and talent mobility strategies
  • Comfortable working with talent and performance data to extract insights and track progress
  • Ability to build or influence data-driven dashboards or reports (e.g., readiness, turnover)
  • Familiarity with HRIS and performance platforms; Workday experience preferred
  • Commitment to inclusive talent practices and enabling high-performance cultures
  • A certification in OD, Coaching, or related fields is a plus

Excited by the opportunity to make a real impact? Send us your CV and a short cover letter sharing why this role excites you and how your experience aligns.
