Pay: £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience

Wilson James is seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Manager. This individual needs to be able to demonstrate clear leadership and an innovative approach to all security matters. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain exceptional customer service standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
About the Role:
As a Security Operations Manager you will be responsible to manage the day-to-day operational and business requirements of a site in line with this division's contractual expectations by leading and managing the site security teams. To be the initial management contact on all security matters for this division of the client's business, ensuring consistent, quality service delivery and prompt responses to all incidents
Your role will include the following:
- Manage the security personnel working on sites, including their professional conduct, development, and deployment (e.g., rostering, supervision, holidays, absence).
- Advise the client on all security matters, including reviewing and writing security policies and procedures.
- Ensure all security incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as the key contact for all daily operational security matters across the contract, ensuring effective communication with the client.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and health & safety requirements, including maintaining up-to-date risk assessments and safety documentation.
- Deliver and manage training and development of security personnel according to their roles and responsibilities.
- Lead on innovation and future-proofing the security service delivery model.
- Work closely with city-wide crime reduction and counter-terrorism initiatives, supporting incident management and response.

What we are looking for:
- You must have at least five years of management experience or a management qualification, such as an ILM Level 3 or 5 certification
- SIA License holder would be desirable
- First Aid (full training) desirable.
- Security system knowledge
