About The Role

Qt is expanding its presence in the UK by opening a local office in London, aiming to better support existing customers and engage more closely with a market where demand for our solutions is already strong. The move is part of a broader strategy to grow in key industries like automotive, healthcare, and embedded systems. By being on the ground, Qt will offer more responsive service, build stronger relationships, and adapt more effectively to the needs of UK clients.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive, Acquisition to lead new business development initiatives, drive revenue growth, and cultivate long-term relationships with high-value prospects. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact through contract negotiation and onboarding.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across key target markets
  • Develop and execute strategic acquisition plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Strong emphasis on prospecting net new enterprise accounts
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that demonstrate clear ROI
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development using CRM tools

What You Bring to the Table

  • 8+ years of successful B2B sales experience,
  • 5+ years specifically focused on net new customer acquisition in UK market with a focus on enterprise sales and complex solutions
  • Proven track record selling complex solutions in one or more of the following areas: software development services, QA tools, embedded systems, engineering software or related technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with technical stakeholders (e.g., engineering, QA, product teams)
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
  • Willingness to travel regularly, for customer meetings and trade shows

  • Exposure to MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks
  • Understanding of the software development processes and the common challenges and pain points faced by developers and testers
  • Knowledge in value-based selling, solution selling, and creating long-term business relationships in the industry
  • Target-driven and results-focused personality to deliver against clear objectives and business development targets
