About the role
A Market Pricing Analyst will be accountable for ensuring the maximisation of IAGCargo’s revenue by optimising the contribution generated from one of our global Sales Regions, ranging from the British Airways Hub of UK&I to Latin America or Asia Pacific. The role holder will determine and implement pricing and market strategies to deliver commercial targets, including revenue, yield, and Load Factor.
What you’ll do
- Regular and ad-hoc analysis to drive key decision-making activity in Revenue Management at IAG Cargo.
- Define and deliver market Pricing Strategies to ensure optimal prices are being offered based on historical and market information.
- Take ownership of pricing levels for key rate types – Spot, Market, CPA pricing, Preferential and Promo.
- Manage last minute pricing activity focusing on short term pricing inside 72 hours of departure.
- Closely monitor competitor activity and Market share sources and ensure rapid response to changes in the competitive landscape.
- Take ownership of delivering local RFPs for the region.
- Collaborate effectively with commercial functions to identify and drive new initiatives.
- Ensure strong utilisation of both capacity and pricing agreements.
- Actively engage with the continuous improvement agenda across the department.
- Being the key interface between Revenue Management and Sales for a particular region. KEY STAKEHOLDER.

Essential Experience
- Evidence of ability to make decisions and judgements based on detailed analysis.
- A strong team player with the energy and drive to achieve the team’s objectives.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in Revenue Management.
- Experience of working with other group departments, for example Sales.
- History of driving change identified from analysis and decisions.
