JOB PURPOSE

To manage the Raw Material procurement process across Sampling & production RTW Raw materials (Fabric & Trims) In-line with the seasonal critical path to ensure a seamless hand-over from Raw Material Development to Raw Material Procurement to enable the seasonal RTW showroom collections to be delivered on time and the bulk pre-buy to be executed on time and to budget to enable requested floorset dates to be achieved in-line with regional requests and global Marketing campaigns.

To build the RM strategy & roadmaps to achieve our sustainability goals.

To ensure core raw materials are optimised from a cost and availability perspective to enable fluctuations to sales forecasts to be managed and sales optimised.

To develop and lead the Raw Material teams and nurture strong supplier relationships aligned to our RTW supplier and product strategy.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Supplier Strategy
• Manage supplier relationships
• Support country of origin and ‘Good, Better, Best’ strategies
• Negotiate raw material costs (core and seasonal)
• Counter-source Core & Seasonal fabrics & trims (as needed)
• Monitor & ensure we meet our sustainability goals
• Manage Industrialisation and Quality of selected raw materials
• Manage Core & Seasonal raw material Pre-Buy process (sampling & bulk)
• Manage new requests
• Minimise seasonal RMX generation (influence utilisation)

• Provide seasonal reporting as needed (internal & external incl. seasonal hindsight)

PERSONAL PROFILE

• 5 years minimum relevant industry experience
• Strong Textile & Trims knowledge (knits & wovens)
• Good communicator
• Proven leadership skills
• Team player
• Commercial acumen
• Italian speaker (not essential)
• Solution focussed approach to problem solving
