KS2 Teaching Assistant role - Immediate Start - London Borough of Richmond
Primary Teaching Assistant role now available for immediate start at a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in Twickenham, SW London. This is a great school which has high expectations and a vision for children to excel at learning, developing independence skills and are challenged to explore and understand the world around them. It is a happy learning environment for students and positive working environment for staff, where everyone supports each other and works together in a partnership.Joining the support staff team as a Teaching Assistant in KS2, you will be:
- Delivering learning interventions to small groups
- Creating a learning environment that is supportive and positive and allows students to thrive both personally and academically
- Supporting children with SEND within the classroom where necessary
- Assisting with the delivery of a creative and balanced curriculum to children in Key Stage 2
- Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing
- Building a rapport with students
- Helping to develop children's confidence and ensuring they feel valued within an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will be joining a team of passionate staff who work collaboratively to ensure the school best meets the needs of every child, so each child is engaged and motivated to have an real love of learning.
Located in Twickenham, this school is easily accessed thanks to local transport links including bus stops and train stations nearby, as well as local parking.This is a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant position to last long-term until the end of the academic year in July, and there is the possibility for it to become permanent in the future too.
