We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our high-achieving and supportive Primary School in Newham. This permanent role, beginning January 2026, offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference during pupils’ final year in primary education.

About the Role
As a Year 6 Teacher , you will lead pupils through an important academic year, helping them prepare for SATs and transition to secondary school. You’ll foster confidence, resilience, and a love of learning while ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and targeted lessons for Year 6 pupils
- Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments
- Support pupils’ emotional and social development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families
- Contribute to a positive and aspirational school culture
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment
- Excellent classroom management and motivational skills
- A reflective practitioner with high expectations of pupils
