Locations: Brent, Hounslow, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith & Fulham, Acton, surrounding boroughs
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Term-time only
Salary: £85–£105 per day
Start Date: Immediate and September Starts Available

About the Role

We are currently seeking caring, energetic, and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistants to support Early Years settings across West and North West London . These roles are based in primary schools and nursery settings , working with children aged 3–5 years during a critical stage of their development.

As an EYFS TA, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning through play-based activities , helping them to develop communication skills, independence, and confidence in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework .

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons

  • Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development

  • Assist with phonics, early maths, language development, and creative play

  • Promote positive behaviour and social interaction

  • Support children with personal care when required

  • Observe, record, and contribute to assessments of children’s progress

  • Prepare learning resources and maintain engaging learning environments

  • Support indoor and outdoor learning activities

  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for early years education

  • Is patient, warm, and enthusiastic

  • Understands child-centred and play-based learning

  • Can support children with varying abilities and needs

  • Is reliable, proactive, and a strong team player

  • Communicates effectively with young children and adults

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in an EYFS, nursery, or early years setting

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification

  • Experience supporting SEN in EYFS

  • Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training
