Pension Fund Accounts Officer
We're looking for a Pension Fund Accounts Officer for a public sector organisation based in London (hybrid) on a 3 month initial contract basis, paying up to £400 per day (Umbrella).
This is a hybrid role with a mix of home and office working. The successful Pension Fund Accounts Officer will support the compilation of the Pension Fund Report & Accounts and safeguard the financial integrity of a multi-billion pound fund. You'll own complex reconciliations, clear suspense account items monthly, and maintain a full audit trail. You'll also liaise with fund managers, custodians and external auditors to keep reconciliations and journal entries accurate. You will need proven experience in the following: Complex financial reconciliationsSuspense account management
General ledger systems
Maintaining detailed working papers and audit documentation
Liaising with auditors, fund managers and internal stakeholders
Raising purchase orders and processing invoices CIPFA reporting knowledge and pension fund accounting experience would be beneficial. A public sector finance background and exposure to ESG reporting would also be a bonus. Interested? Please apply below.
