A large, community-oriented secondary school in Ealing is recruiting a DT Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology/Catering for an immediate start in September 2026.
DT Teacher (Food Tech Specialist) required from September 2026
Ealing-based school prioritizing practical and vocational pathways in the Hospitality sector.
Ideal for a teacher with strong experience delivering and assessing Food Preparation & Nutrition GCSE/BTEC Catering.
You will teach Food Technology across KS3 and GCSE/BTEC Catering . The role emphasizes practical application, hygiene standards, nutrition science, and building links with local catering enterprises to provide engaging work experience opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS and a degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, or Nutrition Science .
Proven experience teaching and assessing GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition .
Strong organizational skills for managing practical assessment and safety standards.
Ability to create engaging , practical learning experiences.
