SEN Class Teacher - Highly Successful School in Ealing

A highly successful school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Class Teacher to join its specialist team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.

The Role

The successful SEN Class Teacher will take responsibility for delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching that responds to the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, senior leaders and other professionals to support pupils' academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons adapted to individual learning needs

• Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils with their academic, communication and social development

• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records

• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other support staff

• Contributing to individual education and support plans

• Maintaining high expectations while providing appropriate support and encouragement

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal SEN Class Teacher will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching pupils with SEN

• Have strong classroom management and communication skills

• Be confident adapting teaching to a range of individual needs

• Be patient, resilient and committed to inclusive education

• Work effectively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
