Purchase Ledger Clerk

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Retail Company in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Purchase Ledger Clerk for 2 months.

Role:

Our client is looking for an immediate interim Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist them for 2 months. You will be responsible for following duties:

• Process and accurately record purchase and supplier invoices.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation where required.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs in line with agreed payment schedules.
• Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end finance activities and reporting as required.
• Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team when required.

Profile:

The successful interim Purchase Ledger Clerk will have 3+ years experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

This role is paying between £15-£18p/h
