UK/ US Tax Manager or Senior Manager
A top 10 consulting firm is seeking an experienced US/UK Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its Private Client Services team, with a focus on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
This role is highly advisory-focused, rather than compliance-focused.
You’ll work closely with entrepreneurial private clients on complex cross-border issues, with a strong emphasis on advisory projects rather than routine compliance.
Typical areas include:
● Pre-immigration and expatriation planning
● Use of treaty benefits and foreign tax credits
● GILTI, PFIC and entity classification matters
● Structuring international wealth and business interests
You’ll also review US tax filings (Forms 1040, 1040NR, 5471, 8865 etc.) and provide technical oversight to more junior colleagues, while contributing to client relationship management and team development.
What we’re looking for
● At least 7–8 years’ experience in US private client tax, with significant advisory exposure
● EA/CPA and ATT/CTA (or equivalent)
● Strong track record of advising HNWIs and families on international aspects of the US tax code
● Comfortable managing projects and mentoring a team in a fast-paced environment
