Senior Tech Recruiter (Talent Partner)
About Monolith AI
London, United Kingdom · Hybrid / Full-time
Monolith AI is on a mission to empower engineers with AI that solves the toughest scientific and engineering challenges — from next-generation battery design to transformational industrial workflows. We’re a small, high-impact team that values curiosity, creativity and collaboration as we build world-class AI-enabled platforms.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tech Recruiter (Talent Partner) to join our People team and own technical hiring across engineering and product functions as we scale.
In this role, you will
As a Senior Tech Recruiter (Talent Partner), you will:
Lead end-to-end technical recruitment for roles across Engineering, Product and Data — owning sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer processes.
Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to define role requirements, success profiles and hiring priorities that align with company objectives.
Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality pipelines — using market mapping, outreach, and talent communities.
Manage candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding, ensuring timely communication, clear expectations and strong employer brand representation.
Coach hiring managers and interview panels on role-specific evaluation, inclusive interviewing techniques and structured decision-making.
Use metrics and hiring forecasts to drive continuous improvement in time-to-hire, pipeline quality and conversion at each stage of the funnel.
Partner with People Operations on offers, compensation benchmarking and smooth candidate transitions into the business.
Represent Monolith AI at external events, universities and industry communities to raise awareness and attract talent.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 5+ years of full life-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within startups or scale-ups hiring software engineers, data scientists or ML engineers.
Demonstrates strong partnering skills — able to build credibility with engineering and product leaders and influence hiring decisions.
Is skilled at proactive sourcing and pipeline building across channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, meetups, referrals and community networks).
Understands technical hiring criteria and can accurately assess seniority, technical depth and culture fit through structured interviews.
Has experience improving hiring processes and metrics — reducing time-to-hire, increasing offer acceptance and improving diversity outcomes.
Communicates clearly and empathetically with candidates and stakeholders across all levels, including executives.
Is outcomes-oriented, organised and comfortable managing multiple concurrent hiring priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Values inclusivity and practices unbiased hiring to attract a diverse talent pool.
What success looks like in this role
You will be recognised for:
Delivering a consistent pipeline of high-quality technical hires that accelerate product and engineering delivery.
Establishing streamlined, repeatable hiring processes that improve transparency and predictability for hiring managers and candidates.
Reducing time-to-hire while improving candidate experience and offer acceptance rates.
Building strong relationships across the business and being viewed as a trusted talent partner by engineering and product leaders.
Contributing to a more diverse and inclusive workforce through thoughtful sourcing and interviewing practices.
Why you’ll love working here
At Monolith AI you’ll join a mission-driven team that values curiosity, authenticity and collaboration. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we hire technical talent at a pivotal stage of growth, influence people strategy, and help build an organisation that enables world-class engineering and scientific work.
We offer a hybrid working model in London, competitive compensation, equity and generous benefits that support wellbeing and growth.
If you’re excited by technical hiring and want to make a tangible impact on a fast-growing AI company, we’d love to hear from you.
