IT Technical Architect Team Lead London - Hybrid (2/3 days on-site) £80,000 - £100,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and technically skilled IT professional to take overall responsibility for system architecture and development, while leading the team in future projects. In this varied role, you will serve as the lead architect, define system requirements, oversee third-party development, execute test strategies, and contribute directly to development deliverables. A core responsibility of this role is bringing more development expertise in-house and being a key communicator between the development team and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in IT development and DevOps, demonstrating proficiency in high-level technical design, architectural techniques, technical solution selection, and implementing robust system security, including penetration protection and access controls. It is a must to have hands-on experience with core DevOps and cloud technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, alongside expertise in managing both Postgres and NoSQL databases. Furthermore, the candidate is required to have broad programming experience across a range of modern languages and frameworks, specifically including Python, Typescript, Golang, Node JS, JavaScript, React, and JSON. Lastly, you must have experience in leading either a team or projects and possess some knowledge of relevant industry standards like GDPR.
