History ECT | Haringey (Exceptional Secondary)
We are working with a leading secondary school in Haringey recruiting for a scholarly and engaging History ECT. Join a department where deep inquiry and historiography are at the forefront of every lesson in this "Exceptional" learning environment.
About the Role This permanent position is designed for an ECT with a deep passion for historical inquiry. You will be responsible for delivering a broad and challenging curriculum across KS3 and KS4. The department focuses on developing students' critical thinking and analytical writing skills, preparing them for future success.

Responsibilities
Teach History across the key stages, fostering a love for historical debate and source analysis.
Lead and contribute to the school's History Society and academic debating clubs.
Maintain rigorous standards of academic assessment and provide detailed student feedback.
Participate in whole-school CPD and departmental planning sessions.
Requirements
QTS (or pending) and an excellent academic record in History.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Valid enhanced DBS.
Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) per annum.
