What’s the role about?
As our Global Planning Merchandiser, you’ll lead planning across Reiss owned stores, concessions, web and online partners, helping shape how we invest in product and stock across our global channels. You’ll own seasonal planning, range architecture, IAQs and stock investment, using commercial insight to support profitable growth, international expansion and stronger warehouse availability.
Working closely with Merchandising, Product, Digital and wider cross-functional teams, you’ll influence range and stock decisions across markets and partners. You’ll also play a key role in developing a consistent, forward-looking planning approach across the wider Merchandising function.
Who you are
- You’ll have previous experience in Merchandising, Planning or a similar commercial fashion role, with strong experience across multiple channels or international markets.
- Commercially minded and highly analytical, with a strong understanding of sales, stock, option productivity, size curves and stock investment.
- Confident using data and insight to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and influence seasonal and in-season decisions.
- Highly organised, with the ability to build and manage planning frameworks while balancing multiple channels, markets and priorities.
- A strong communicator and collaborator who can confidently influence Product, Merchandising, Digital and wider business teams.
- An experienced people developer who enjoys coaching others and creating a consistent, forward-looking planning approach across a team.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning seasonal planning across owned stores, web and online partners, including option counts, range depth, IAQs and size curves.
- Building and maintaining global planning frameworks that support consistent and commercially focused decision-making across markets and channels.
- Reviewing and recommending IAQs, grading and stock depth by category, line and channel, using historical performance, productivity and growth targets to inform decisions.
- Leading partner and new channel range planning, identifying opportunities for growth, optimisation and exit across categories and lines.
- Leading stock investment planning for digital channels, with a focus on improving warehouse availability and supporting international and partner growth.
- Delivering sales, stock and range analysis, using insights such as option efficiency, zero sellers and bestseller contribution to identify risks and opportunities.
- Influencing Product and wider Merchandising teams through clear planning insight, while overseeing the alignment of launch allocations, future IAQs, intake and stock plans across owned channels.
