With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.

Role description:

Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme, designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You’ll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.

As a project manager joining GROW, you’ll be working within a diverse team, cultivating a deep understanding of our sectors, building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, and finding ways to improve ways in which we work. You’ll be responsible for your monitoring progress of project work, liaising with clients, implementing timely resolution to issues, identifying risks in the delivery, coordinating with contractors and given every opportunity to build your skillsets.

Role accountabilities:

Project controls includes the data gathering, management and analytical processes used to understand, predict and constructively influence the time and cost outcomes of a project or program through the communication of information that inform effective management and decision making. Control systems for projects are defined and implemented by the project controls team during the definition and mobilisation phase of the project lifecycle.

Our Project Controls colleagues work at the very heart of projects, making sure that teams and clients work together efficiently, have clear direction and are enabled to do their best work. You’ll be supported as you take responsibility for delivering industry-defining work that truly transforms the world and improves quality of life. The Project Controls programme at Arcadis is perfect for graduates aspiring to become key players in the delivery of major construction and engineering projects, utilising their communication, digital, and coordination skills to steer project teams to success.

Accepted degrees:

BSc or MSc Project Controls, Construction or Engineering related degree such as Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management.

We also will consider those from a non-accredited background, including courses such as Law, Management and Business-related degrees etc, with view to supporting them through chartership.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
