A high-profile family based between Regent’s Park, Central London and East Sussex is seeking an experienced, developmentally aware and emotionally intelligent Rota Nanny to care for their daughter (9) and son (8).

Both parents work full-time and require structured sole care during rota weeks. A second long-term rota nanny is already in place.

Role Overview

During rota weeks, you will have sole responsibility for both children (day and overnight care; bedtime 7pm). The family values initiative, structure and flexibility, as well as the ability to adapt to changing schedules and travel between both residences.

This is a hands-on position within an active household that values professionalism, discretion and high standards.

Responsibilities

? Sole charge during rota period (including overnight responsibility)
? Planning and organising stimulating, age-appropriate activities
? Supporting creativity, arts, reading and imaginative play
? Preparing simple, healthy and nutritious meals aligned with family preferences
? Following meal plans and maintaining a healthy lifestyle approach
? Diary management and coordination of school and extracurricular activities
? Maintaining children’s bedrooms, wardrobes and play areas
? Supporting a limited-screen household environment
? Travelling with the family when required
? Assisting with pet care (dog and cat in East Sussex; guinea pigs in London)
? Driving children locally (London and countryside)

Ideal Candidate Profile

? Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar rota role
? Developmentally aware and emotionally mature
? Positive, upbeat and energetic
? Highly organised and proactive
? Health-conscious and aligned with a home-cooked, organic-focused lifestyle
? Able to balance fun and warmth with clear boundaries
? Comfortable in a large multi-level home and active countryside setting
? Discreet and professional

Requirements

? Fluent English speaker
? French speaking
? Enhanced DBS
? Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid
? Clean driving licence
? Confident driving both manual (country house) and automatic (London) vehicles
? Comfortable with pets
? Happy to work within a limited-screen household
