POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team on an initial 12-month secondment. The role will play a key part in the consolidation of EMEA financial performance for global reporting, supporting core FP&A cycles including financial reporting, forecasting and planning as well as providing insightful ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A in the consolidation of EMEA financial performance for submission into the global FP&A process
Coordinate and deliver key EMEA reporting deliverables, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and aligned with global standards, including the development and maintenance of reporting templates
Support core FP&A cycles, including quarter-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning
Partner with FP&A teams across EMEA, including channels and functions, to collect, validate and challenge submissions, ensuring a clear understanding of the underlying performance and the ability to understand key messages at an EMEA-wide level
Support the preparation of executive presentations, including financial decks and materials for senior stakeholders
Perform ad-hoc financial and business analysis to support decision-making requests
Support the ongoing improvement of FP&A reporting and consolidation processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and quality
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a Masters degree or professional qualification is advantageous or equal experience in similar position
Minimum 4 full strategic cycles of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of financial planning and reporting processes, including consolidation, month/quarter-end close activities, budgeting and forecasting methodologies
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with Hyperion or similar financial planning systems is highly desirable
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outputs within tight reporting, forecasting and planning deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, particularly when working with consolidated financial information
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the business drivers behind financial performance and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Proactive and collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes
Comfortable conducting detailed ad-hoc financial and business analysis and responding effectively to time-sensitive business questions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across regions, functions and levels of seniority
