Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Python Django Developer to join our high profile client in their main development team.

Our client is a small but well known big data property software business, disrupting a well established market.

The Python Developer will join an innovative start-up is pioneering a new concept for the large social data. The most important part of their product will be the enterprise-grade technology platform written in Python and Twisted with a Django frontend. This is a unique green field development opportunity that will allow you to play a part in shaping the future of social data and be rewarded accordingly.

On a day to day basis the Python Django Developer will:

• Evaluate and identify appropriate technologies to implement product features
• Work closely with the founders, UI/UX designers and other technical staff on product development
• Provide help in the recruitment, training, retention and organization of development staff

Python Development is agile and fast paced. As requirements evolve you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.

Python Django Developers Must Ideally Have:

• 2 years plus of commercial python and Django development experience
• As a full-stack developer you will have some demonstrable experience in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/AngularJS)
• Strong understanding of software development practices such as agile development/scrum/kanba
• Database design (both relational and non-relational) and performance optimization experience

You will gain exposure to NumPy, SciPy, pandas, IPython and other Python libraries with ability to source, clean and manipulate large data sets as well as google mapping.
