Sen Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield, North London Start Date: September Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Enfield. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone who is confident working with students who have a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs. Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and group support to students with special educational needs * Support pupils with academic, emotional and social development * Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management * Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour strategies * Foster a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience working in an SEN setting or mainstream school with SEN students * Understanding of a range of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties * Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * A proactive and flexible attitude How to Apply: If you're an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant looking to join a fantastic school in Enfield, we want to hear from you!
