JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a skilled Commercial Image Post-Production Retoucher to join the Marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, brand-consistent imagery across all product categories, managing end-to-end retouching for e-commerce, marketing, and creative projects. This role ensures every asset meets Burberry’s technical standards and creative vision while remaining true to the product and meeting seasonal deadlines. Combining technical precision with creative judgment, you will produce visually compelling assets that support global e-commerce, marketing campaigns, and third-party platforms. Collaboration with photographers, stylists, and workflow teams is essential to maintain efficiency, consistency, and speed throughout the post-production process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retouch diverse imagery across apparel, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle for e-commerce and marketing, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional quality.
  • Deliver to seasonal deadlines by achieving daily production targets while maintaining precision and creative integrity.
  • Apply advanced retouching techniques including colour correction, masking, shadow creation, dust removal, liquifying, and skin/hair refinement, leveraging the latest AI-powered tools for efficiency.
  • Ensure colour accuracy and consistency across all product ranges, aligning with Burberry’s creative direction and brand standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with photographers, stylists, and workflow teams to review, approve, and manage imagery, including coordination with external agencies.
  • Maintain quality assurance and organisation by checking live site assets, managing image administration tasks, and supporting workflow processes from upload to final delivery.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Proven expertise in photography and retouching within a studio environment, ideally in the fashion industry, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings, demonstrating organisation, prioritisation, and flexibility to meet deadlines and seasonal demands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality, combined with professionalism under pressure and a positive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively as part of a team to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold brand standards.
