GenAI / Copilot Trainer in London Area
Job description
Role: GenAI / Copilot Trainer
Location: London / Hybrid
Type: 12-month FTC (with highly likely extension)
About the Programme
We’re supporting a major government initiative focused on transforming how departments work through the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The programme is driving operational efficiency across enabling functions such as HR, Finance, and Policy — simplifying workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and helping civil servants use AI to improve productivity and decision-making.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced GenAI / Copilot Trainer to design and deliver training that helps government teams adopt Microsoft Copilot and AI tools effectively. You’ll work closely with policy, HR and finance teams, as well as technical specialists, to develop practical learning materials and hands-on sessions that demonstrate how AI can support everyday government work.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires both strong communication skills and an understanding of how AI can be safely deployed within large, complex organisations.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning resources to upskill government staff in Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workflows.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences, including senior civil servants.
- Work closely with cross-government stakeholders to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for AI integration.
- Collaborate with prompt engineers and product teams to ensure training reflects real-world use cases and best practices.
- Develop scalable training materials and toolkits that can be reused across departments as part of the Government Efficiency Accelerator programme.
- Advise on governance, licensing, and responsible use of AI within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Who You Are
- Experienced in delivering digital or AI-related training within central government or other large, complex organisations.
- Strong communicator, confident engaging with senior and non-technical audiences .
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio , with the ability to design, prototype, and demonstrate Copilot use cases.
- Familiar with licensing models, governance frameworks, and responsible AI principles within M365 environments.
- Adept at translating business needs into practical, outcome-focused AI training solutions.
This is an initial 12-month FTC , but the scale of the programme means there’s potential for it to extend considerably as AI adoption grows across government.
