Contract: Full Time – Long Term
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £95 – £135 per day
Are you a Level 4 qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant seeking for a position in a Primary School based in Greenwich, London?
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with all year groups teacher to provide tailored support to students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities under the direction of a teacher.
- Teach classes independently, cover planned absences, and allow teachers time to plan and mark.
- Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 4 qualification in Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Have specialist skills/training in a curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
