Role Overview:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant , you will:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, both inside and outside the classroom

Help implement tailored strategies that meet the child's educational and emotional needs

Work closely with the teacher and wider support team to ensure consistent, high-quality support

Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

✅ Requirements of a SEN TA:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN , especially ASD

Confident, proactive and able to take initiative

Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about making a difference

Strong communication and teamwork skills
