Bespoke Advertising Director - Wallpaper
Wallpaper's Commercial Advertising Sales Team is looking for a Bespoke Advertising Director to lead its Creative Solutions team within one of the most iconic and influential design and lifestyle brands in the world. As the Bespoke Advertising Director for Wallpaper, you'll shape the future of a brand that is synonymous with creativity, innovation, and luxury.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you'll shape and deliver creative, branded content strategies that resonate with the brand's discerning audience and premium client base. With a deep understanding of Wallpaper's heritage and its global reputation for excellence in design, architecture, art, and lifestyle, you'll ensure all commercial initiatives align with the brand's ethos.
Your role will focus on inspiring and leading a high-performing creative team to develop innovative, tailored solutions for clients, and championing creative excellence across:
- Branded content
- Social media and influencer marketing
- Events, and experiential activations
- Video and audio storytelling
- Book design and publishing
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Experience in the luxury advertising market, with a strong understanding of the unique demands and expectations of premium clients and audiences.
- Deep understanding of premium brands and their audiences, ideally with experience working in design, lifestyle, or adjacent markets.
- Ability to assess the wider media landscape and work cross-functionally to maximise revenue opportunities and achieve organisational goals.
- Expertise in creating and executing integrated marketing plans for high-value deals (£100k+).
- Experience building, scaling, and managing teams within a matrix organisation, with a vision to grow and develop the team over the coming years.
- The ability to connect persuasively with diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders and key clients.
- Comprehensive understanding of partnerships, the digital media landscape, branded content, premium programmatic advertising, and media planning at a strategic level.
