Role Summary and Impact
We are recruiting for an aspiring Account Manager to join our specialist Rolex Tudor team within Connections Planning here at Mindshare. The Rolex Tudor team are a bespoke team of luxury focused media planner and buyers, built to service our prestigious Rolex and Tudor clients.
As a team we are closely aligned to Connections Planning, who are a department of experienced media planners across a range of well-known brands, allowing the Rolex and Tudor team to tap into a larger network of great minds across the industry. In this team we need to strive to be innovative as well as showcase that we understand this very precious luxury market.
This role offers a brilliant and rare opportunity of allowing you to be a part of both planning and execution of cross channel campaigns, delivering end to end results!
You will support across both brands, as well as support in Co-Op planning across key retailers such as Watches of Switzerland Group, Harrods and Beaverbrooks to name a few.
This role offers great insight into the full matrix of marketing communications including client relationships, strategic thinking, cross channel planning, media activation, specialist teams, activation, relationships with media partners and measurement.
About the Role
You will be expected to report into the Account Director and Business Director on the Rolex Tudor team as well as work closely with our specialist OOH, AV, and Local teams. You will be primarily based in our London office, but you’ll have the option of remote working as part of your working week, as part of the WPP Media flexible working policy.
Collaboration is at the core of our team’s philosophy. We understand what it means to work on a luxury client, their expectations of a media agency, and in turn work collaboratively to deliver responses across all levels.
You will be expected to act as a liaison to our clients in delivering media plans and rationales, as well as bridging the relationship between our client and our specialist exchange teams.
As part of your role, you will also be responsible for and expected to:
- Have an understanding and an opinion of the UK print marketplace, inclusive of premium glossy print.
- Deliver plans with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Form strong relationships with our media partners to work closely with them in delivering great response to briefs for our client.
- Support Account Director & Business Director in designing an approach that outlines how and where we will connect with defined audiences in media, all within relevant environments.
- Work closely with the Account Executive and support them with their roles and responsibilities.
- Day to day management of campaigns as a key liaison between clients and channel specialists. This also includes the management of plan delivery, bookings, monthly billing and reporting.
- Keeping up to date with market trends and potential opportunities in the market.
- Management of status reports, updating weekly status documents that we share with clients, and manage up where appropriate to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Become confident in presenting with passion and conviction and collaboratively leading on some of your own projects.
- Designing measurement & testing framework to inform as well as measure and optimize the campaigns.

- Showcase that you have a high attention to detail.
- Show you understand the luxury market and potential competitors of Rolex and Tudor.
- Previous experience in a print background is preferred.
- Have an interest in delivering end to end planning and buying.
- Ability to manage deadlines and gather information from multiple sources and collate it in an effective and aesthetically pleasing way.
The following are desirable skills:
- Understand previous Rolex and Tudor work – and have a clear interest in working across these prestigious brands.
- Demonstrate a passion for media and understand what makes a great media campaign.
- You are excited to work as part of a team; immediate, wider department and specialists as required. Leading by example though presence and contribution. Taking the responsibility for working in a collaborative, inclusive way
- Demonstrate a proactive desire to continually improve own knowledge and wider skill set.
