Conveyancing Legal Secretary

We are a well-established multi-service law firm based in West London, known for providing high-quality, client-focused legal services across property, private client, litigation, commercial, and family law..
You will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to fee-earners within our Residential Conveyancing department. This is a fast-paced role, ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing a busy workload.
- Preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and organising client meetings
- Handling telephone and email enquiries and maintaining excellent client communication
- Opening and closing files in accordance with compliance requirements
- Conducting Land Registry and Companies House searches
- Assisting with SDLT submissions and dealing with post-completion formalities
- General administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and billing support
About You
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a legal secretary, ideally within residential conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent typing skills, including audio/digital dictation
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability
- Professional telephone manner and a commitment to outstanding client service
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
