The Role

This is a 9-month FTC parental leave cover with potential extension. You will focus on financial risk analytics , supporting capital allocation, IFRS9 oversight, ICAAP stress testing, and liquidity risk management. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions and regulatory submissions.

In this role you will:

• Oversee IFRS 9 ECL calculations, reporting, and model validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead ICAAP stress testing and scenario analysis, ensuring robust capital planning.
• Provide analytical insights on balance sheet risk, capital efficiency, portfolio overview and liquidity forecasting .
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to embed risk analytics into decision-making.
• Prepare clear, actionable reporting for senior management and regulatory reviews.

What You will Bring

• Background in banking, financial services, or regulatory environments, ideally from analytics or risk teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in ICAAP, stress testing, or liquidity risk.
• Good understanding of IFRS9 ( ECL) + Macroeconomics
• Solid understanding of balance sheets , capital allocation, and regulatory frameworks (Basel, PRA/FCA).
• Proficiency in Excel and risk tools such as Python or Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and collaborate across teams including exco
