Main duties of the job

As a Matron, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Nursing and the Integrated Medicine Care Group to achieve their objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include providing professional leadership to a designated team and setting an example of exceptional nursing practice. You will serve as a clinical expert and promote a culture of professional growth and continuous quality improvement.

Your main focus will be delivering high-quality, effective patient care with a specific emphasis on enhancing outcomes and the overall experience for older individuals, their families, and caregivers. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the professional development of your nursing teams, ensuring their competence in practice. You will also take responsibility for maintaining a safe patient environment, addressing infection control concerns, and collaborating closely with colleagues both within our facility and in primary care settings.
