We are partnering with a highly respected, people?centric firm within the financial services sector to appoint a People & Recruitment Advisor on a fixed?term maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable HR professional to expand their advisory skillset in a collaborative, high?performance environment.
The role is broad, varied and hands?on—spanning recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning & development, events and wider People & Culture initiatives.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the end?to?end recruitment process, including drafting role profiles, advertising, shortlisting, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and supporting offer management. You will handle low?complexity employee relations matters such as absence queries, probation reviews and informal performance issues, with support from senior colleagues. You’ll provide confident policy guidance to managers and maintain accurate case documentation.
Within learning & development, you will help coordinate technical, compliance and soft?skills training sessions, liaise with internal experts and external providers, maintain training records and follow up on development needs identified in performance reviews.

You will also support People & Culture projects and engagement initiatives, helping improve processes and employee experience across the business.

- Excellent relationship?building and communication skills
- Strong judgement, organisation, discretion and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload and respond to changing business priorities
