About the Company

Our Client is a specialist joinery contractor, offering a one-stop-shop solution for bespoke joinery, undertaking projects from design stage, through to production and installation.

This company have strategically spearheaded both residential and commercial markets working with an impressive portfolio for repeat clients ranging from the industry’s biggest house builders and fit out contactors within London and Home Counties. Having this diversity, it’s notably brought market stability, steady workflow, a solid order book for 2024.

About the Role

Due to huge market demand and company expansion plans, our Client is in the market for a proven Design Manager from a Joinery, who’s ideally got the buildability knowledge that’s progressed from the bench.

* Responsible for the production and management of design and technical documentation on projects from start to final account

* Managing design team

* Working alongside production line

* Working closely with installation teams and Project Manager

* Client / Architect meetings

* Use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for a range of products and components (2D and 3D, Solidworks, and Revit)

The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry ranging from £70k to £80k

Requirements

Just like every business this contractor does look for a certain type of person. You’ll need proven 5years (minimum) experience working as a Design Coordinator / Manager for a rival Joinery Contractor, degree or CIOB qualified
