The Year 2 Teacher Role

• Teach the Year 2 curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy foundations.
• Support children in developing resilience and independence ahead of KS2.
• Track, monitor, and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building strong partnerships.
• Play a key role in the wider life of the school, including clubs and enrichment.

Requirements

• QTS and proven experience teaching KS1.
• Strong classroom management and ability to motivate pupils.
• A commitment to supporting and developing children academically and personally.
