What you will do as Senior Pastry Chef de Partie

• Lead the pastry section, ensuring all desserts are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and quality control of ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitor dish quality throughout preparation and plating, upholding consistency and excellence.
• Train and mentor junior team members to support skill development and maintain kitchen standards.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative dessert concepts and seasonal menu offerings.
• Promote sustainability by minimising waste and optimising efficiency.
• Maintain pastry equipment in good working condition and conduct regular stock checks.
• Foster cross-department collaboration to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

About you

You bring proven pastry experience in a hotel or high-end kitchen, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach. Skilled in pastry techniques and elegant presentation, you're passionate about quality, creativity, and team development.
