Salary – Up to £40,000 (Depending on Experience) + Car Allowance, Pension, Health

About the Role:

My client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. The projects are based around the Surrey area. The site team will consist of a Lead and Project surveyor to assist you with day-to-day duties, you will also be expected to be able to manage a variety of your own packages. This is a career enhancing project that will add real value to your CV and experience moving into more senior positions later on in your career.

Duties to include but not be limited to;

* Assisting with calculating take-offs

* Assisting with the procurement of materials/subcontractors

* Assisting with preparing BOQs /estimating

* Assisting with the management of Subcontracts – valuation, variations etc.

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and reconciliations

Candidate Requirements:

* Must have a minimum of roughly 2 years Quantity Surveying experience

* Ideally have worked for a Developer, would consider main contractor

* Must have residential build experience

* Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
