Senior Marketing Manager
We are working with a well-established investment management firm to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager into a business with exciting European expansion plans. This is a key strategic role for an experienced B2B marketing professional who can blend strategic thinking with strong execution skills to drive brand development, integrated campaigns, and market engagement across the UK wholesale and institutional channels.
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the development and delivery of high-impact marketing and communications strategies that support business growth and enhance the firm’s visibility within the UK asset management market. This includes overseeing a brand transition, shaping client propositions, managing campaigns, and leading corporate communications activity in collaboration with sales and investment teams. This position is ideal for a commercially minded marketer with deep industry knowledge, strong stakeholder management experience, and a passion for delivering measurable results.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Leading the execution of a high-impact marketing and communications strategy aligned with business objectives
- Overseeing brand positioning, visual identity, and messaging to support the firm’s brand transition
- Collaborating with sales and product teams to shape compelling client propositions and messaging
- Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, events, and traditional channels
- Managing the firm’s PR and corporate communications activity, including media relationships and agency partnerships
- Designing and deliver thought leadership initiatives to build brand credibility and engagement
- Creating sales enablement tools, content, and materials to support business development
- Monitoring campaign effectiveness and ROI, using insights to optimize performance
- Ensuring all marketing activity aligns with compliance standards and brand guidelines
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven track record in senior B2B marketing roles within asset management
- Strong experience in brand management, including rebranding or brand transition projects
- Expertise in campaign management, content marketing, and digital engagement
- Skilled in proposition development and sales enablement in collaboration with distribution teams
- Experience working with PR agencies and managing external communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of investment language
- Commercially astute with excellent project and budget management skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset and attention to detail
