Nanny for school pick-ups, Job ID J1E78C
A lovely family based in Putney, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties, including assisting with school pick-ups, supporting homework, and engaging the children in fun and stimulating activities. Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs will also be part of the role. The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, and energetic, with a genuine love for working with children. A valid First Aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Duties include:
- Handling school pick-ups and providing after-school care and support
- Assisting the children with homework and school-related tasks
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and development at all times
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books and fostering a love for learning
- Supporting consistent daily routines, including evening and bedtime
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Performing light household tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, washing the children’s bedding weekly, and ironing school shirts
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
