The Opportunity & School Profile
This independent school requires an enthusiastic Art Technician to support the busy Art and Design departments. The role involves preparing resources, assisting students and staff, and managing specialist equipment across painting, sculpture, and digital media.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Studio Management: Preparing materials and setting up resources for practical lessons (KS3-KS5).
- Equipment Maintenance: Managing and maintaining specialist equipment, including kiln operation, darkroom facilities (if applicable), and graphic design software/hardware.
- Exhibitions: Assisting with the display and preparation of student work for internal and external exhibitions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract: Part-Time (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Salary: Highly competitive salary compensated on the school's independent pay scale (pro-rata).
- Support: Generous independent school pension scheme and excellent paid annual leave entitlement (pro-rata).
