Looking for Flexible School Work?
We work with a number of schools across Westminster that regularly contact us when they need immediately available administrative staff — whether that's to cover a sick member of staff, provide additional support during busy periods or help the school office manage increased workloads.
We're therefore looking to register experienced Receptionists and General Administrators who are available at short notice and would like the flexibility of temporary school-based work.
The Work
Depending on the school's requirements, assignments could include:
Working on a busy school reception
Answering calls and dealing with visitors
General administrative and clerical duties
Updating pupil and staff records
Responding to emails and correspondence
Filing and processing documents
Supporting attendance and admissions administration
Providing general support to the school office
Assignments can range from single-day sickness cover through to longer temporary placements, so flexibility is highly desirable.
What We Need
You must have previous experience working in a school environment and be confident working within a busy school office.
You will also need:
A clear DBS
A DBS registered on the Update Service, or a DBS issued within the last 6 months
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good IT skills
The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
Availability for full-time and/or part-time assignments
