Science Technician - January 2026
Our client is seeking a Science Technician to join a thriving and well-established Science faculty in Barnet. The successful candidate will support the delivery of Biology, Chemistry and Physics practicals, including preparation of materials, safe handling of chemicals, maintenance of equipment and organisation of laboratory resources. The role also involves ensuring health and safety procedures are followed and assisting teachers with demonstrations and practical setups.
School Information
This 11–18 school educates around 1,450 students and consistently achieves strong outcomes in Science at both GCSE and A-Level. The laboratories are modern, well equipped and supported by clearly structured systems that enable efficient technician work. Students show high engagement in science learning and benefit from a curriculum designed to develop curiosity, analytical thinking and practical skills.

Salary
Paid on the support staff scale , according to experience.
