This high-achieving 11–18 school is known for excellent organisation, strong leadership and a professional working culture. The site team plays a vital role in the smooth running of the school and works closely with senior leadership to maintain high standards across the premises.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the school site and facilities
Opening and closing the school buildings
Health & safety compliance, risk assessments and security
Overseeing contractors and site maintenance schedules
Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance and grounds work
Supporting events, lettings and emergency call-outs when required
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Caretaker or Facilities Manager
Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
Ability to manage workload independently and proactively
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Salary
Paid in line with the support staff pay scale , dependent on experience.
