About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support to wonderful students in this outstanding school. Key Responsibilities of an Early Years TA:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide dedicated support in the mornings for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
* Offer flexible afternoon assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, ensuring all students receive the individualized attention they need.
* Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and confidence for every child.
* Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalized learning plans and interventions.
* Build strong relationships with students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development.

What We're Looking For an Ideal Early Years TA:

* Prior experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
* A proactive, resilient individual with a strong commitment to helping every child succeed.
* Willingness to assist with nappy changing when necessary.
* A deep understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Important:
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection is critical for this role. Successful applicants must pass all safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
