The Role
The school is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students. This is a key front-facing role, requiring excellent communication skills and a welcoming manner.
You will play an important role in creating a positive first impression of the school while ensuring that all reception duties are carried out efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and manage visitors in line with safeguarding procedures
Answer and direct telephone calls and emails
Provide general administrative support to the school office
Maintain visitor logs and ensure accurate record keeping
Support communication between parents and staff
Assist with student enquiries and day-to-day issues
Ensure the reception area is well-presented and organised
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and approachable manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic IT skills
