Manager, International Tax - Corporate Transaction Tax We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions tax team, working within our International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS), who are recognised as being leaders in cross border M&A. You will be working with some of the largest corporations in the world, advising them on their M&A deals. Working within our International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS) in particular sectors or areas of the M&A landscape or to get experience across the spectrum. You will be working with some of the sector leading Partners who are well known and respected in the market. You’ll also be working with a high performing team who have advised on many high profile and market leading transactions over the past few years. With a number of disrupting factors in the market at the moment you’ll be at the forefront of helping our clients to navigate the market challenges on an international scale. The opportunity In this team, you will get wide-ranging experience in all the core areas of the deal cycle, including tax structuring, sell and buy side tax due diligence, funds flows, SPA reviews and refinancings. As deal advisers, International Transaction Tax team members not only get good UK tax technical experience but also get a commercial understanding of what is important to our clients in a deal context. As a large part of ITTS work is cross-border, you will also have an early introduction to international structuring techniques and overseas tax regimes. We are currently looking to expand our Corporate M&A tax team and are keen to speak with experienced Tax Advisors and existing Managers. Previous M&A experience is not a pre-requisite for this role - we would consider candidates with a broad-based corporation tax background.
