Junior Sous Chef - Michelin Star Restaurant

We’re working with an exceptional Michelin Star restaurant in South West London that is looking for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join its small and incredibly talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who is serious about their career and wants to surround themselves with people who are equally passionate about their craft. The kitchen has a strong classical foundation, with a real emphasis on seasonality, outstanding produce and developing dishes with precision and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to an exceptional standard throughout service. Working with premium seasonal ingredients and treating each product with care and attention. Working closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to continually develop your skills. Getting involved across the kitchen and building experience beyond one particular section. Contributing positively to a close-knit brigade where teamwork is incredibly important.

Requirements

• You’ll need experience within a quality-driven kitchen, strong fundamental cooking skills and, most importantly, the hunger to learn and push yourself. Previous Michelin Star experience would certainly be beneficial, but it isn’t everything.

Benefits

• £36,000 per annum plus service charge = Circa £44,000 package. Set days off – Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Working within a Michelin Star kitchen with an outstanding industry reputation.
