Key Responsibilities – Commercial Strategy and Business Development
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new commercial opportunities, market entry, and expansion in targeted sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales revenue and organisational market share.
- Build and nurture long-term business relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and supply chain to create compelling value propositions and drive customer satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends, track competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to refine the go-to-market strategy.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts ensuring mutual value creation and risk management.
- Regularly report on commercial performance, forecasts, and pipeline status to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements – Commercial Leadership Experience
- Proven commercial and business development experience in B2B environments, preferably within the flooring, building materials, or construction sectors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies leading to market share growth.
- Excellent relationship-building and account management capabilities.
- Results-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to complex commercial challenges.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and site visits as required.
